My husband is marrying someone else!

My husband is a Reverend now (I know!), and that means he can marry people. As in, legally begin a marriage between two other people, just to be clear. His first wedding is coming up next week and it happens to be friends of ours. Now, I know my husband pretty well, and he will do a great job and take it with all proper solemnity and all that. But I can't help thinking, "how the heck did we get so grown up?" I am married to someone who can marry people in real life, not just in mucking around or doing a play or something. What a crazy responsibility and honour. It does make me feel old though.
The following day we have another wedding, my brother's, which will be in a cinema, and on the most memorable date this year- 10/10/10. I am a bit jealous- I can never remember what year I got married in.
