God Hunting
Jo has recently signed a contract with Scripture Union for a new book, due for publication in April 2011.
God Hunting is an exploration of six different spiritual practices and how they can be incorporated into a busy and noisy life. Jo will be spending a month road-testing each practice, giving a frank appraisal of her efforts and ideas about how to take each one further.
What holds us back from pursuing God? Is it really time pressures, or is it motivation? Is God really to be found if we seek him with all our hearts? Do we dare find out? Are some spiritual practices just not practical for those with busy careers or young children or essay deadlines? How do we avoid becoming legalistic and just adding more things onto our "to do" lists?
Along the way she will be interviewing some very intriguing and interesting characters, and participating in some unusual events...
The book will have some interactive multi-media features, including a podcast, a blog and a web forum.
